They are chowing down on lots of pate and kibble, this morning. I got to pick up Eira and give her a quick snuggle. She didn't resist.
Today we will move the playpen into the sun room and start flea treatments. As soon as all 3 are comfortable being handled, we're off to the vet. I want them to 'decompress', first to make it easier on the doctor. I can't wait to hear what they say when I walk in with 3 more feral kittens.
Mysterio is still sheltering himself but he is eating. I'm going to put a bigger bed in the playpen after I feed the ferals. And I'm going to attempt picking him up for a snuggle.
On a side note, I had quite a night. There were FOUR fur babies snuggling with me, last night. Freya joined Arthur and the boys some time in the middle of the night. She and Arthur have been having a really good time. She's getting to be quite the beauty.

Good luck with Mysterio. You'll get there!

The play pen is now in the sun room. It's warmer and they can see activity going on in the house. They are eating and, best of all, USING THE LITTER BOX!!
The next few days are going to be fun but I'm glad I have an expert staying with me. I've never tried to socialize kittens of this age. Madoc's litter was 4 weeks old and Arthur's was 3 weeks old. These kittens are at least 6 weeks old. Maybe a bit older. I think the fact they've seen and heard me for about a month, now, might make the process a bit easier than if I had just found them.

(92,789 posts)For four cats! I have a single currently and between Mikey and I, it's a negotiated space. Fortunately, he has an endless selection of sleeping positions where I have like one and a half assisted by pillows.
It's great that Arthur and his sister have play dates. Are these new kittens from the same mother as Madoc and Arthur?

(27,299 posts)She's the daughter of the 'alpha female', Skittish. Skit was the first feral I saw, about 3 or so years ago, and Scooter is the lone survivor of the first litter I started to feed.
I have zero doubt that Bruiser, the local tom cat, is the father of Eira and Gwyn. Maybe Mysterio, but the two cream kittens look JUST like Bruiser.
