I had to make my first post about kittens. I'm so worn out from today's hearing; kittens it is. One of my best friends is a cat rescuer so, kudos to you for caring for the little ones. =^..^=

If my dog, Mr. Finn, wouldn't terrorized a kitty, I would adopt another one.

Wish I could adopt a new kitty but I worry about my health and ability to care for a new cat. About a month gone now since my special friend had to be euthanized. I can't get over it. All of her stuff is now gone. I'm too old and worry about caring for a new kitty. Also, in my neck of the woods, it costs $250 to adopt a shelter kitty. I have no money.

For the past 40 years or so, we had wonderful furry kitties as friends and companions. I'm now too old and alone. Caring for a pet is a responsibility and I can't take it on now. Sure miss my special friend. She had been with me since my husband died. There is a great void in the house now.

I think her breakthrough case is a really mild one. Still not even running a temp.

I got my booster and flu shot so I was running a low grade and was pretty tired, today. I take it again, tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure I'll be ok.

Turns out that Ira, or eyera is correct. It means "snow" in Welsh.

but we think they are about 4 lbs.

Scooter was still occasionally nursing them about a week ago. They are definitely bigger than the other two litters I rescued and they were 3 and 4 weeks old.

However, I am no judge of cats' size since I only fostered 1 kitten and the rest were adult dogs and puppies. My Chihuahua puppy was 2 1/2 pounds at 8 weeks and 7 pounds full grown.

It wouldn't surprise me if Gwyn doesn't grow the same.

I thought Madoc would be a smaller cat because he was SO small when I brought him in. I was wrong. Really, really wrong.

Racing back and forth in front of me. I haven't seen her sitting on the deck, looking for her babies.

I've moved them into the den, now. Tomorrow I will give them a little play time outside of the playpen.

So, I think it wouldn't be a big adjustment for her to not have them. I wonder how much she knows or understands about you taking them inside.

If she saw the previous litters going inside, it didn't stop her from bringing her own around for food. She trusts you with her babies, I think.

Now they are getting pate and they are LOVING it.

I can't wait for tomorrow because today was such a success.
