Since the kitten's playpen is now in the den, so was I last night

And for at least an hour they were batting that jingle whiffle ball around. That's OK. I am thrilled they are adjusting.

Today we will try letting them loose in the den. Of course I'll have to reconstruct the barrier but that's OK. They need room to frolic.

As I have 3 month "old" sister kittens, I will follow closely. But no barrier can contain them as they leap like leopards.

I am giving them Tiki Cat born carnivore for kittens as it was highly recommended at the "river" place.
