Related: About this forumI have a bad feeling that Carys has escaped by the freakiest way possible.
We had to move the dryer because Arthur got caught behind it. When I moved it back I didn't really line it up to the vent so it was open to the outside. Today I had to vacuum the kitchen. I haven't seen her since and JUST discovered the vent issue. If she ran into the laundry room she might just have slipped through. I just went out to see if she was around - nope.
My only hope is, if she did escape, is she turns up for food, this afternoon. My biggest hope is she's around here, SOMEWHERE.
I'm so ANGRY at myself for that massive screw up!!!!

(24,430 posts)probably hang out with the other ferals and come by for food.
She wasn't getting much more comfortable around me, which is very discouraging. But I won't give up. Maybe she hid somewhere in the house and fell asleep.
I won't give up but right now I feel like

(8,203 posts)kitty when we started letting her out after about a year..never without us..but she was black..so when she came outside with us..we watched her like a hawk..invariably she would slink off..we searched one night for about an hour..yes, she was older than Carys..but in the morning she was curled up in the chair on the back patio..she had not spent a night outside before..
I was frantic..but for some reason I knew she wasn't far..they say, a cat will travel, but they have a close-by circular path..as you say, IF she did get out..she is familiar with your scent and putting food out should work..but I don't have to tell you that..
Trying to put you at ease, but I know you won't relax until Carys is secure..try to stay calm..
