Another bit of progress with Carys

She's now bringing the whiffle ball out in the open and sitting by it, patiently waiting for me to notice. She doesn't move when I pick it up but she SURE does when I toss it.

This just started this morning.

And I REALLY have to watch where I step when making their breakfast because she's RIGHT there, walking circles around my feet.

I also got an update on her siblings. They are doing great and are now living the good life with their 4 new feline siblings and one GIANT canine (who is afraid of kittens!)

Hopefully I will see them at Thanksgiving.

Way back in the day, when I smoked. I could ball up an empty cigarette pack and throw it, and our Siamese would play fetch. I always told people she was part dog.

But if he sees Carys run for the whiffle ball, he hangs back and lets her chase it. He is such a gentleman.

when I was a little kid when the cats would get under grandma's feet she would swear at them in Slovak.

I still remember a lot of the words.
