He had spent seven years in a chaotic house (autistic kids plus another cat that bullied him relentlessly.)

After he became familiar with my house and me, I started giving him gabapentin (prescribed by his veterinarian) for a few weeks, and now he is a calm, gentleman of a cat.

Gabapentin also helped my sister's cat who had been traumatized prior to her taking the cat in.

Talk to your veterinarian. Perhaps gabapentin will help your cat also.

I also thought about getting Feliway that uses pheromones to ease stress.

Fingers crossed I can get her into the carrier, next week, and we'll go to the vet to get her vaccinations started and schedule her spaying.

A girl in the group will help keep the boys in line though it sounds like she might be an instigator. Just hope she doesn't become the Ma Barker type!
