New pics of Smoke and Cinder. Not sure what happened between pic 1 and 2. Put down any drinks.

Everything seems just fine, here but Cinder has obviously spotted SOMETHING.

And then..... (I laugh every time I see this pic!)

What an adorable pair. From the looks on their faces, I hope a hairball in your shoe isn't in your future.

Maybe six or seven head of cat.

We have four, so I get it. I love cats, and these little guys are cute.

Are you fostering them pending forever homes? Or are you keeping them? How do they get along with the older ones?

I have four but I've rescued 11. All but Gryff have feral moms and all but the last 3 were born in one of my gardens. My vet gave me Gryff after I lost little Morgan (Madoc's sister) and my older cat, Sophie Stinky Toes, within 24 hours of each other. He and his siblings were abandoned in a box, along side a very busy roadway, and someone brought them to the vet's office. He was about 4 months old, so the same age as Madoc, at the time. Within a couple of days, Gryff and Madoc were totally bonded.

The newest kitten, Carys, was supposed to go to a new home but the couple decided to not adopt another cat. I was disappointed but now I'm enjoying the challenge of winning her over. She's the oldest I've ever tried socializing. Madoc and his siblings were about 4 weeks old. Arthur and his siblings were 3 weeks old. I know that because I saw them the day they were born. As soon as I saw them starting to develop eye infections I got them to the vet and then took over as 'mom'. And, to be honest, I fell in love with little Arthur, the moment I saw him.

I'm lucky because I'm in contact with all of the people who have adopted the kittens.

So my group is one from each litter I've rescued, except for Gryff.

All four of the ones I've kept get along GREAT. Arthur was so tiny, I kept him and his siblings isolated until they were past the bumble stage. Madoc and Gryff did a little bit of hissing and swatting, but nothing serious. The barrier I used at the bedroom door was an old storm glass window so the big boys could safely observe the kittens, before I brought them out. Carys and her two siblings, who were adopted by friends, were accepted immediately. They were about 3 months old when I brought them in. Again, I was seeing eye issues and one had a big bald spot. Everything has cleared up.

I kept Madoc and Morgan, but unfortunately Morgan had a serious problem with her intestines for which there was no solution. Just endless hospitalizations and surgeries, and a short, uncomfortable life. My heart still breaks when I think of her. She looked just like Smoke.
