So no. They say I can, but rescue has agreed to find him a safe forever home.

I'm heartbroken, but happy they will find him a home.

I've agreed to foster 2 weeks.

Ty for all your good energy, love, & support. Much appreciated!

He is FIV positive &, while rescue said it would likely not be transmitted to my senior rescue kitty, I cannot take that risk. She has been with me 12 years & my 1st commitment is to her health & safety.

(Call me eccentric, but back in the mid '70s, I adopted a Dobe puppy. I didn't realize what assholes many landlords are & had to move every 6 months (when they realized they couldn't snoop / steal from me whild I was at work). I did that for 7 years until I bought a house. I don't take the commitment of adoption lightly. Lol)

Ty!

backs under the bed and have a scratching spree with the fabric under the box springs. You'll know what they're up to when you go in
one day and a kitty has apparently disappeared. But no! It's torn the fabric and now is among the springs and able to dart away from your every attempt to drag it out. I used a stapler to cover that underside with a heavier sheet and the problem was solved.....

.....until they noticed that a freestanding bathroom sink had a hole in the back of the base, climbed in, but couldn't get out. I was frantic, afraid they'd found a way to flush themselves down the toilet. Thank god for husbands!!! That hole got stuffed with towels!!

Hes safely in a large dog crate with a box to hide in & a soft towel to smooze on.

Glad you were able to resolve your kitty issues.
