TFP Nutrition announced a voluntary recall of a dry cat food formulation, HEB Texas Pets Indoor Complete Dry Cat Food.

No reported illnesses have been confirmed in humans or cats as of the recall on December 16.

Cats with Salmonella infections may become lethargic, or develop diarrhea, fever, or vomiting. Owners with cats who have consumed the recalled food or have these symptoms are encouraged to contact their veterinarian.

The recalled cat food was only distributed in select retail stores in Texas. All recalled product has been removed from the stores.
