Related: About this forumWell, Carys has been liberated!
She's in re-exploring mode and going to her usual hiding places, behind the den or living room couch. I have to keep an eye on Arthur because he's overjoyed to see her.
She ate a little shredded chicken. She would probably like more but I but I want to take things easy, for now.
She did let me give her an extended cuddle and she was purring but I don't know if it was a happy purr or a nervous one. I walked her around the house and to the windows so she'd reconnect. I hope to see her napping on the den couch, very soon.
I'm going to go to bed VERY early, tonight, just to give her extra time to remember how much she loves snuggling her head beneath my chin and falling asleep. Well, and because I'm still getting over this head cold. I'm feeling much better, but still not 100%.

(27,287 posts)I expect Carys is napping behind a couch. Gryff is on the kitchen table and Madoc is next to me. I think Arthur is just biding his time until Carys comes back out.
It just feels so good to have everyone home.

(7,454 posts)Cats are wonderful creatures. They figure things out rather quickly. I sympathize with your head cold. I am getting over one. Worst Christmas ever. I was major miserable on Christmas Eve and Day. Still coughing and not feeling up to par. Go away damn cold. 🤧🫣
