Any one feed their getting plump middle aged cats this brand?

Diamond Care

Ingredients -Insoluble fiber, provided by ground Miscanthus grass, helps your cat feel full, while L-Carnitine aids the body in metabolizing fat. And to make sure your cat gets all the nutrients they still need, this formula is rounded out with omega fatty acids, guaranteed antioxidants and probiotics for digestive health.

I have been free feeding Shaw & Dixie Rachel Ray nutrish dry chicken chickpea& salmon for the last 5 yrs. I noticed over the weekend Shaw is getting a bit 'plush'. I can still feel her ribs. A fast google search said yes, tabbies can get chunky. I don't want to go down that road of the food not being healthy for them.

Thanks

The Blue Indoor has a lot of starch and fat :) Donkees Feb 2023 #8
Free feeding is not as healthy as fixed meals. I feed mine twice a day, fixed portions. Karadeniz Feb 2023 #4
Our cats have never been plump because we take great care not to overfeed them. Martin68 Feb 2023 #6

Are you feeding this? Have you seen any fat loss?

My senior rescue girl demands to eat every 3 hours, round-the-clock.

I started her on organic Evanger's a few mos ago. Great food, but she's continuing to pack the weight on. She's only eating 1/3 can/day along with Blue Indoir formula.

She will not play with anything for exercise, so I bought her a huge cat tree to encourage climbing. She climbs to the hammock, then sleeps. 😓

Tyvm for sharing. I hope this helps her!

But if she won't eat it, Chewy will either do a return or just refund. I've done it both ways with them.

Ty again for sharing about this food!
