In advance of potential bad weather, I spent more on indoor cat food than indoor human food

But on the bright side, I just found out my locally owned pet supply store offers a veteran's discount so Arthur's 'gourmet' food, that he loves so much, was a little bit cheaper.

Not to be neglected, I already stocked up on the outdoor fur baby food.

I also bought some more of that catnip for them. It seems to be pretty potent.

Some of them will send you coupons for discounts. I think some will even give you coupons for free food.
A email or call(best route) to them might give you a little extra in the search for affordable food. I'd send you something if I could but my funds are running out.
I just lost my kitty to old age and cancer and miss her so much. When my kitty was sick and the vet kept telling me to switch food, I called Purina in desperation. The problem turned out not to be the food. After spending thousands of $$$ to the vet, she died.
I'd send you something to help if I could. Thank you for all you do to help our furry friends.

I love feeding time because I get swarmed, both while feeding the indoor AND the outdoor fur babies. More and more often the ferals will all start eating while I am still putting food in the bowls. Scooter always takes a nibble out of each and every bowl, as I fill it. That's when she lets me pet her.

It's so funny how fast Carys caught on to the words 'Are you hungry?' She comes racing up to me with the cutest expression on her face. Then she wants me to carry her to the kitchen.

Carys wants you to carry her to the kitchen now to eat. Glad you brought her in to your home! She seems to fit right in with the boys😊.

My husband gets one from Lowe’s, a local hardware store, and one of his favorite guitar and accessories stores online, among others. All he had to do was email a copy of his DD214 to a verification agent the companies use. Some stores it’s good on any purchase, some it’s just on “selected items” but every little bit helps.

He says always ask for a senior discount, too. He says he is sometimes not as old as he thinks he is, depending on the vendor.😉 Almost 70 should always qualify if you ask me, but they didn’t ask me. 🤦🏽‍♀️. Some vendors will stack military and senior discounts.

Siwsan and the Kitcats: The Saga continues. And I’m so glad it does.

I’ve been titrating down on a prescription antidepressant. In just a couple of months I’m down to 5 mg from 20mg. So far so good. I may get all the way off, and I’ve been on them since the 80s, where I started out at 80 mg after I got T-boned by a drunk driver on the highway. Recovery from that was intense.

DU and you and your four foots get some credit for this decision to wean off the Rx. Total knee replacement late last August helps, too. Retirement and getting out of FloraBama has also been quite restorative.

My military ID # was my SS# so I whited that out.

I need to make an appointment with the Secretary of State so I can bring in my documents are get a veteran's designation on my drivers license.

My nephew lives in the Florida panhandle. He and his new wife are planning on moving closer to family, which would be wonderful.

All of the fur babies are napping, right now. I might try to make an early lunch. Gryff is always underfoot when I'm in the kitchen. Not sure why, but he is persistent.
