Quite the wake up from Carys, this morning

It started out with head bumps, kitty kisses and purrs. Then I opened my eyes just in time to see her butt headed towards my face!

Don't get me wrong. I know this is a sign that she trusts me and I am flattered. It's just not what I want to see, first thing in the morning.

She was all of 8 pounds dripping wet but fierce as could be. She got a little sickly at one point and in an effort to get her to eat I started feeding her Whiskas in the foil pack every morning. Smart little lady she would go from window to window starting about an hour before daylight looking for morning. Once she’d found it she would let me know by sweetly tapping my nose. All good so far… but when that didn’t work she’d stick her paw in my mouth and pull on my lower lip. The same paw that had been in the litter box burying whatever she had done.
I felt like Lucy when Snoopy kissed her. BLECH!!!!!

She's also started to rub against my ankles and meow, very softly, when she wants me to pick her up. Usually when I'm on the phone. That is one thing still firmly in her control.

I can remember talking to my SIL. She would ask her kids if they were bleeding or dying. If they were not, she would tell them to leave her alone.
