And now the kitten is getting a little curious

He finally untucked his tale and his hisses are going down in intensity. Skittish sat very near by while I just talked to Owain. He showed some interest in the scent of the wet food that Skittish scarfed down.

As for his eyes, there is obviously small tree bud debris causing some watering but the discolored 'goo' is gone. It was so yellow I suspect he got in to some pollen.

I'm guessing he's around 4 or 5 weeks old, at the most. I'll have everything ready and my plan, if I can catch him, is to house him in the playpen, out on the screened in porch. Hopefully I can get him comfortable enough to take care of any fleas.

I will attempt to find him a home. If I can't, I'll hold on to him until I can get him neutered. I really can't handle more than the 4 cats I already have, inside, but he will be welcome to stay in a shelter, here in my yard, if I can't find him a family.

My gut feeling is my friend in Chicago who adopted Cinder and Smoke might just want to add another fur baby to her home, and she LOVES black cats.
