Sian has two speeds - zoomie and zoomier

And she is the chompiest kitten I've ever encountered!! I'm sure she just has so much energy and nobody but me to play with, right now. BUT tomorrow I might try putting her down on the den floor to see how things go.

Kittens and puppies. You could power Toledo with all that activity. And do it cutely, too. Their energy is very entertaining

So she's now got free range of the guest room. I no longer worry about her hiding because as soon as I call her, she lets me know where she is.

One of my early rescues looked like a Sian relative. We named him Banshee. He developed to where he could be sitting on the floor in front of a tall refrigerator, and I swear he'd just levitate up to the top. Effortless.

On the other hand, the next rescue 2 years later, Toshiro Plushbottom, never did learn to jump. Getting up onto a low windowsill, he'd barely hook his front paws, then claw his way up the wall with his back legs. We were renting at the time and had to do a lot of secret repair before we moved, so we'd get back the security deposit. He couldn't back up, either.

Sian is seriously adorable, and I do like the big personality. Madoc'll come around. The trick will be to keep them from becoming partners in crime - together, they could rule the world.

...of elephants when they zoom up and down the bare wood basement stairs. They crash into things as if they were in a demolition derby.
