Ember was 9 weeks old when I got her and I remember how she wore me out. When she got one of her shots, the vet told me that she would be lethargic for a few hours afterward. I said, "Is that a promise?"

I suspect that's an outlet for her pent up energy. When she's in the den with the kidcats, she's moving almost non stop.

It is so much fun to watch her try to take on the bigger felines. Sometimes they actually run from her!

that stage of hyper activity, try to get away from it in the same way that grandparents and even parents need a break from the activity of active children.

I brought her down to the den at about 6, this morning. She is far less bitey, this morning. I think the prolonged interaction with the kidcats is giving her a MUCH better outlet for her energy than chewing on me. She will be down here for most of the day, but I will still separate her at her feeding time.
