I say that about each one, don't I? But they are. She's the newest and, for now, best baby kitty.

Hope the others are fine with her being there, sounds like they are.

Madoc still kind of keeps his distance but if she runs up to him there is no hissing or growling.

This morning she seems to have moved past her compulsion to try and shred me. She let me hold her and give her a nice cuddle.

She is spending most of her day with the kidcats. I also figured out where she goes to take a nap. She and Carys curl up together beneath the chair.

Carys is the youngest but, apparently, being kin, she has taken to caring for her so to speak. Interesting. In all my years of observing cats, I have never had the opportunity to observe a multi generation group in this way. The interactions, some perhaps based on kinship, are very interesting.

She'll be a happy kitten, hope she gets a forever home that can keep up with her.

Surrounded with love & protection, finding whatever help she may need, as we all deserve to be.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the MAGA-Putin-NRA-KKK-ALEC-Oligarch-DeathCult-fueled hate, anger, greed, cruelty, violence, increasing fascism, and unrelenting destruction we live with now. Totally toxic.

How sad, and what a waste of a lifetime to live such a hate-fueled life.

I’m thankful every day for the life I have, for the many people working to repair our world, for DU where we can share and learn and grow and be called to action in a relatively safe place among peers.

Siwsan, you and your Continuing Saga with kitcats and kidcats and feral cats bring us a sweet antidote to negative overload. A lovely palate and brain cleanser, if you will. A respite before we return to the work that must be done. I look forward to every new episode. Especially with pictures! 😉

May we all be surrounded with love and protection, and may we always find whatever help we may need.

I've started to limit my news watching because I was struggling so hard with my anxiety. DU is a respite spot for me.

Well, and the fur babies. Few things transform my anxiety into calm faster that a purring kitten. Well, or a purring BIG kidcat. They are the best kind of medicine.
