Related: About this forumSian is such a blue eyed beauty.
Well, for now. It would be amazing if her eyes stayed this shade. They probably won't but one can dream.

(24,397 posts)They kind of wrestle around and then Carys gets bored and leaves.
Sian is still going after Gryff, pouncing on him or biting his tale. Madoc is tolerant. Sometimes she and Arthur play together.
She LOVES to chase me around the den or climb up and nestle just below my chin.

(24,397 posts)Sian and Carys would pair off because they are the two youngest, just like Arthur and Carys did when Carys arrived.

(113,130 posts)They might stay this shade, they might lighten a little more, or they might go all the way to lap panther yellow.
She will still be a gorgeous kitty. She might also be a floof ball.

(978 posts)That if they have enough fat in their diet, they will have a better chance of having green eyes when they get their final color. It was discussed about black cats, specifically.
So they are yellow or gold eyes as a default, but with sufficient dietary fats, they end up being green.
So a green eyed black cat is a sign of very healthy early childhood nutrition.
I cant find the original article, so I may be mis-remembering. If someone can either confirm, disprove, or expand on this, please go right ahead.

(1,230 posts)My immediate family members all have/had dark eyes and olive skin. My husband has beautiful blue eyes. When our daughter was born, her eyes were beautifully blue like her dads and her hair was strawberry blonde, like moms mom, or so I thought. Grandma had told tales of her Viking ancestry, but my mom laughed and informed me that my Norwegian grandmother got her red hair from Miss Clairol!
When mom took her first look at our littlebird she exclaimed, Well would you look at those blue eyes! I hope shell get to keep them! Her eyes? No, dear her Blue eyes. Quite exotic for our family. And, yes, our littlebirds all grow up now and her eyes are still blue like her dads. Her hair turned out a lovely reddish brown.
Sian will be beautiful no matter what color eyes she ends up with.
