Vincent Has Fully Adapted To The Dog Park

He's over his fear of other dogs. Runs around with any of the others.
Was roughhousing today with a bernedoodle for a good 20 minutes. (Girl dog named Nova) They both were having big fun.
After running around for 40 minutes, he's over by the washing machine out like a light!

I can just mill around, but he's running at a pace I couldn't keep up with.
Geez, even when I was young, in shape & fast I probably couldn't have kept up.
I probably end up walking around a mile by the time we leave.
Good for him, good for me.
This park is big, too.
3 separate sections, all fenced in separately. The center one is for dogs 35# & smaller. The other 2 are for any size dog.
Each section is probably 75 yards by 120 yards (Golfers see distances in yards). So, a couple acres each.
They keep it mowed to lawn length, but each section has ares where they let the grasses and prairie plants grow to maybe a foot. So, it's a good looking area too.

The one I take out big dogs to is 25000 Squ feet of mud and rock. Nothing pretty but the dogs love to run.

The thing I love the most, besides watching my doggo have fun, is talking to all of the other doggo parents. No one cares what you do for a living, or where you're at politically, it's just all about our dogs. We all get to know each other's dogs' names long before we personally introduce ourselves.

The county here has several dog parks but I'm being told by folks from other parts of the county that this is their favorite.
Folks driving two or three times distance to get to the "better" dog park. It's really our only practical option, as we're only 3 miles away.
So, I meet folks from several different towns, different age groups, different backgrounds & occupations but it's all about the beasties.

Not sure how or why the tour thought getting rid of an annual event in a golf-crazy 3rd biggest market was a good idea.
But, the BMW has been here I think, 3 times in 10 years.
Even if it's 4, that's a lot different than yearly.
