(27,287 posts)He hasn't attacked my feet in quite a while.
During the day he used to just sit next to me. Now, if I'm using the lap top, he will nudge it with his paw so that I'll set it aside. Then he jumps up on my lap for some quality scritching time.
Madoc and Gryff will be TWO YEARS OLD in a little less than a month. That's so hard to believe. Since we figure Carys was at least 4 months old when I brought her in, I'm bundling her birthday in with theirs so she will be one year old.
They keep me young.

(27,287 posts)He was such a scrawny little guy when I found him. He had a scratch on his nose from diving beneath some twigs and branches, trying to escape me. And he had the saddest little kitten face! It broke my heart so I knew I had to keep him.

(92,695 posts)Look that fabulous all the time.
My morning wonder today was the effect of an incoming rainstorm coming down from the pass meeting up with the sunrise to produce an unusual morning rainbow (doubled!) before the storm. It was too big/close the get it all in the one frame so this is over the gap at the southern end of the rainbow.

(27,287 posts)The sky looked ideal for one, but I was very disappointed. Our rain kind of evaporated before it arrived. There's another chance, tomorrow. Of course, that's yard waste pick up day.

(24,021 posts)Youre probably getting the thunderstorms we enjoyed last night. It was wonderful to drift off to sleep with the storm raging outside.

(92,695 posts)Over the past weeks but enough rain to make it look like it used to back in the 70s and 80s around here, green and lush. The past several years we'd be well on our way to brown with smoky skies. Nice change for once. I did watch a cloud go by the other night that was producing heat lightning, no real thunder but an excellent light show, went on for over an hour. Used to watch those back in Wisconsin when I lived there.
I haven't had to do much watering so far. I see the river is really high but not flooding here, Billings is getting a little flooding though, quite a few more rivers have dumped into it by then. Over here, the first tributary for the Yellowstone is the Sheilds River, it's kind of flooding.
Otherwise, I am thankful for the below +80F temps too. My plants are all growing and not burning up, amazing, I almost forgot what that was like.
