I joke about his ears, but I love them. They make him distinctive and add charm to his sweet face.

Sometimes I'll use the words they used, and I see a puzzled look on someone's face. It's kind of funny. Where are you from? Must be somewhere in the South.

Chattanooga, TN to be exact. Her mother, who grew up on a farm in north Georgia, had lot ot interesting expressions. For example, to carry something was to "tote" it, a paper bag was a "poke," and a long distance was a "right fur piece."

Yeah, my grandparents were from the northeastern part of Mississippi. That area is like the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mts. They had the same basic language and culture as the people in the Smokies. I live on the Gulf Coast, but I sure love to go to the mountains! I would like to live in the Appalachians during the summer and down here in the winter.

My Molly is curled up in much the same pose now, chilling after a long summer day.
All tuckered out.
My husband tells me that my dog is a cat. Sometimes she makes me wonder.
Sweet dreams, all.

I always had a mildmild cat allergy and was fine to be around them as long as I was always around them. Then I joined the service and was out to sea for months at a time. That was enough to make my allergies very bad. So I get my cat-fix through all your pictures and all the other ones.

Question, “How many cats does it take to become crazy cat person?”

and they brought me a coaster as a gift. On the coaster is a message that reads "I was normal three cats ago."
