Related: About this forumI have two guest again tonight
The forecast is for rain/thunderstorms until midnight so I knew I couldn't risk leaving Tudor outside. I'm also going to be checking on the rest of the kittens, since the mom had ignored the cries of ALL of them on Tuesday morning. For how long, I don't know but they were wet and pretty frantic at 9 that morning while the mom was dry, in a shelter.
I put him in the porch playpen, went back out to pick up something I'd forgotten and when I turned back toward the door, Dylan was climbing up the screen, meowing loudly. So, what's a kitten charmer to do? I scooped him up, too.
They are both in the guest room playpen, eating and testing out the plush cat bed. Tomorrow will be nice, again, so I'll take them back out with the breakfast. If the mom is still disinterested in him, I'll get him an appointment at the vet to have him checked over and start his vaccinations.

(27,286 posts)They are sleeping with their heads and front paws touching. I couldn't get a photo because I'd have to zip open the top and that would probably wake them. But trust me, it is beyond sweet.

(27,286 posts)Admittedly it wasn't in the litterbox. At least it wasn't like the first time I saw him pee. That was on me, just as he was really coming around after his near death experience.
Hopefully Dylan will give him some guidance, tonight.
