(24,392 posts)His coat in this pic looks like it is spotted instead of striped. Does he have spots or stripes on his back and sides?

(27,286 posts)He is one handsome dude, that's for sure.
Ember has a mix of markings, too. Her coat is tortoiseshell tabby (torbie). In some lighting, she looks like a black and gray tabby. In other lighting, the random red streaks in her coat are much more visible.
She has the "bull's eye" swirl on her sides that is called "classic tabby" compared to the straight stripes of a "mackerel tabby." But her swirls are composed of multiple colors (red, black, gray, and white) that look like an abstract painting.
She had huge ears like Arthur's until she was about two years old, when she finally grew into them. They are still slightly large, but nothing like before. Those ears were so big as a kitten that they dwarfed her face.
pics!

(24,392 posts)but lost them all when my old phone had a meltdown. Foolishly, I had not saved them on the cloud.
Will try to get more and then figure out how to post them.

(27,286 posts)I've loved Arthur since I first saw him, which was the day he was born. I knew, at that instant, that he had already found his forever home.
