Arthur and Madoc took turns observing Tudor, today

Arthur had the morning shift. I've noticed when Tudor is in the guest room, 'contained' by a baby gate, the kidcats aren't showing any interest or curiosity. Previous kittens were closely observed. Maybe this is just so routine for them.

That being said, Tudor had a great day. He spent time in the veg garden with his best friend Dylan. He ran around the back yard and the enclosed porch. And, of course, he got lots of snuggles.

I tried to weigh him and the best estimate I could get is that he's close to, if not at, 14oz. He should be at 1lb, by now, but no doubt he will catch up because he does have a good appetite. He is also finally sleeping for longer stretches of time. I know he needs that rest to grow.

Right now he's curled up on me, snoozing away. Hopefully he will get some more fresh air before dark. Dylan is usually hanging out in the back yard. Merlin and Rhys were here today, too, and it was SO much fun watching those 4 boys play together. Tudor might be small but he is fearless.

In the fall of 2012, our sons rescued a kitten their college soccer team found while on an out-of-state tournament trip in San Antonio. Their school was in Wisconsin. The little guy weighed 20 oz.

His name is Winston. He spent a year with our older son in an off campus house, and then joined our clowder. He has thrived and turned out to be a big dude - 15+ lbs now, and not fat.
