Golden retrievers sashay walking father squeak lamb needs to go on our walk.

Early this morning beating the heat Dunc and man. We walk in park and we pass dudes with Rottweiler Doberman German shepherds what people think as manly dogs and golden retrievers are not the manly dogs.

I love my boy I love golden’s why because of mister big paws RIP Mr big paws was bestest boy ever and I’m fortunate I knew him. Yet my boy Dunc is doing the golden retriever sashaying that golden’s do when they walk just moving those hind hips. And Dunc is carrying squeak lamb in his mouth on our walk.

Dunc had to go and get his squeak lamb so he could go on walk also as I grabbed his harness ok man we are going on a walk squeak lamb wants to come. And walking Dunc and the Floof fur I see on his bum that the groomer trims just makes me smile as we pass other dogs on our walk and Dunc carrying squeak lamb toy.

And dogs are just the best we do not expect much of them yet when they come into our lives we get so much.

They give us so much more than we give them.

How nice that you, Dunk, and Squeak Lamb enjoyed an early walk this morning to beat the heat.

Whenever he walks his family by my place and I happen to be out front, he drops right there in the street. He won't budge until I give him some belly rubs. He's a big boy. He's got to be around 80-90 pounds and not fat. He has a dark coat for golden too. It's almost redish-brown. He makes me miss my dogs. I would get another, but the place we're renting has no fenced in yard. I only have cats now. I enjoy your stories Duncanpup! Thanks!!

I hope they were patient with you as you are still learning how to behave on such outings 🙂.

Gracie doesn't carry her toy with her on the walk, though she will pick up things that she finds along the way, mainly branches fallen out of the tree, and I have to steer her clear of the occasional paper plate, fast food wrapper or beer can. But the sashay starts from the moment we leave the apartment. Also, walking through the garage in the basement, as she passes the cars, she zig zags instead of going in a straight line. Once outside, it's anyone's guess as to which way she wants to go this time.

She's 10, but still runs, jumps and gets excited like a puppy.

The collies, the Bernese Mountain dogs and our current Stabyhoun. They've all been females, so I haven't had manliness issues. They loved, drooled, licked and carried Lambies around like precious companions and had secret hiding places for them at night.

Gotta keep your best buddy protected!

I can visualize your Golden trotting with his Lambie held high, sashaying those muscle dogs right out of town. LOL.

Pooches always make me smile.
