Operation kitten reunification went off without a hitch

I checked outside at 5:30 and saw the mom was waiting. So I left the kittens in the bed and took them out to the porch. Then the boys joined them. They all seem just fine.

There's about a 50% chance of rain for this afternoon. I'll keep watch.

I'm wondering if I should move that cooler chest shelter to the deck. They are definitely comfortable there. Maybe I'll give that a try.

Fortunately it was warm but they are too young for that kind of situation.

..a friend of mine did that when a feral cat kinda adopted them. They made a little wooden shelter with hay and food and installed a cam so they could watch when she stopped by for shelter or a snack.Once when the cat was gone they watched a little mouse skitter all about the box.

I'm also going to straighten up the porch - do some re-arranging and vacuuming. I can keep an eye on them.

Soon the mom might not be waiting for them as they get old enough to be weaned entirely.

Good way to start the day.
