Related: About this forumI going to be shunned by the inside kidcats, for a while
It's flea medicine application day. I've given them a good combing, which they HATE, and applied the medication, which they HATE.
Oh, and it smells like they've all decided to do a protest poop. Lovely.
Well, all but Carys. I give her oral medication. SO much easier, and she sort of shuns me, anyway. Well, unless I'm handing out treats or she's in particular need of scritches.
Due to my recent 'trip and fall' my brother is going to mow the lawn for me. Laundry is done, so I guess I'll get my fur baby fix with the outdoor kitcats. It's pretty cool, today, so I'm thinking a big mug of 'Builders Tea', a book, and plenty of cuddles will help the bruises heal.

(24,414 posts)Maybe it's just her natural temperament. How well does she socialize with her furry housemates?

(27,296 posts)Sometimes she kind of hangs around where ever I am or follows me around the house. Occasionally I get to give her a scritch. Every once in a while she hops up on the bed and grooms. When she does that, she also allows me to interact with her.
Other days she races away as soon as I enter the room.
I've accepted that this is just how she is. I have no regrets about keeping her. She might just surprise me.

(61 posts)My cats (when annoyed) will poop and run...don't cover a single bit of it. It makes me laugh...just not in front of them.
