Around 06:30 a car backfired several times going past the house.

It’s now 06:40 and Dunc the golden retriever chunk is still in my lap just saying my coffee is getting cold.

Son in Law's a tall deputy sheriff, so hope he's prepared; I suspect he was really the #1 who wanted a pup!
