Grtff has been acting a bit peculiar, lately. I think I know why

He's been spending a lot of time up on top of the laundry room cabinets. Before that it was the refrigerator, and then the book case and the grandfather clock. I'd try to get him to come down but failed more than I succeeded. He would come down to eat. Well, most of the time. Occasionally I could lure him down with treats.

Now I think it's because I was spending so much time with the outside kittens and he's feeling neglected.

Last night he finally hopped up on the bed and let me give him some cuddles. Today he's been on much lower levels. I'm about to open the treat jar and have no doubt he will race in to the den.

Oh, he just arrived and I haven't even picked up the treat jar, yet!! That's a good sign.

Poor boy! I'm giving him lots of extra attention.

They are either sleeping, eating or playing in the back yard so I can just take a peek out the window to check on them. And there is almost always at least one adult fur baby with them.

Tonight he was chasing treats where ever I tossed them.

When things are going in a direction not desired. Glad that's all it was but it makes me think that Madoc was sounding the alarm earlier, before you could respond with the outdoor kitties' care schedule shift.

Things should settle down now that you are needing less time with the outdoor babies. I can imagine there's a little tension with the older indoor kitties as they have seen one after another become part of the pride and they may feel like that might continue with some of the new arrivals outside. Maybe.
