Related: About this forumI thought I was going to have an overnight guest.
Just before dark I went out to check on the kittens. The only one I could find was Tegan. After two more checks, with a flashlight, she was still solitary. I didn't want her to be alone, all night, so I set up the playpen.
When I went back out to get her I saw Dylan. Whew. Then when I turned around, there was Rhian. OK. As long as she's not alone. (Yes, I worry too much.)
Just before I headed back inside I saw mama cat. No doubt Bronwyn is there, too. I said goodnight.
I know the deck shelter is being used because the fresh straw has been tamped down. Maybe that's where they are overnighting. The big carrier shelter is also being used.

Sainthood in it for you, for sure! (If only from the cats.)

(706 posts)Not sure he's been in it yet this year but I know he used it last winter. We had a few cooler nights but are in a "warm" spell right now. He's secure enough to sack out be it yard, deck, straw bale, shelf. I wish I could get a worm pill down him but I did stock up on high calorie gel as well as vitamin/mineral gel (he likes both). Will give cat loving neighbor a tube of each as he does "dine" at her place too. He's surpassed the number of months other ferals/dumps (excluding the two I took in). Yet I worry about him. I keep track of the days he shows up (as does cat loving neighbor).
Thank you for doing all you can. Not sure where you live but it can get cold where I'm at. So his tote is even more buffered from the weather this winter.
