Last night we had a thunderstorm.

Guess who wasn't worried about any of the kittens. OR, it seems, several of the adult ferals. Yes, a couple of the bigger fur babies are venturing inside, which is great. There are only 3 who den at the neighbors - Skittish, Tabby and Scooter. Makes sense because Skittish is the mother of the other 2. This morning I saw a striped tabby inside so it was either Skittish or Tabby. The only way I can tell them apart is that Skittish has a broader, darker stripe down her back.

The indoor fur babies freaked out at the storm. They were reluctant to come out for treats. Well, except for the fearless Spider Monkey Kitten, Sian and Madoc, SLOWLY followed by Gryff. Eventually Carys and Arthur ventured out but they were very nervous.

This morning I was greeted by a rush of kittens. Snowdon is letting me get VERY close, but I'm still not trying to touch him.

You are there to help them get over the trauma of the storm! And good thing they outdoor kitties have that awesome porch to shelter in!

He goes right inside the bathroom cabinet. I have a blanket in there for him in a box.

Well one good thing since he hides in the bathroom, if we have a real tornado he will already be in the safest room in the house. Don't have to freakout trying to find him.

Last time we had a tornado warning I gathered my important shit and the hard carrier he was already all ready.
