Related: About this forumI am happy to report a repeat performance by Carys, last night
She spent most of the day just kind of hanging around where ever I was but still kept her distance.
Last night, as soon as I settled myself beneath the comforter, she jumped up on the bed and asked for snuggles.
It was going great until Gryff pounced. She scooted to the side of the bed while Gryff and Sian took over the cuddle spots and started grooming each other, AND me. Arthur was stretched out next to me, on my pillow, and was in major purr mode. Madoc observed from across the room. I guess he figured that all of the best spots were occupied.
That's how I fell asleep.
I woke up, again, at about 2:30 and Carys was back to snuggling up against me.

(92,684 posts)Progress comes in small packages too!
When winter is roaring things could get snugglier.
I think that seeing how you care for the new arrivals to the yard and that you have chosen to keep them inside with you may have educated them about their good fortune. It appears they might be showing their gratitude in ways only they can. Kitties are wonderful friends to have.

I still lived up on the plateau back when I joined. Had to think about it for a moment.

Thank you so very much for sharing the love and joy and adventures, and, yes, the sorrows, with us. I hope you have some small idea of the light and warmth you bring.
