(823 posts)I hope you don't mind a cat person nosing in. I change the litter boxes and my husband feeds the three cats. He encounters catstacles as they crowd and trip him while demanding food and treats. I prefer my job because they don't form catstacles around their litter! BTW, cats don't generally drool, but my cat Wolfie likes to annoint me with his wet nose when I am trying to sleep. Yuck.

(3,010 posts)I feed the cats and my wife does the cat boxes. I used to do that job too, but I don't think she like the way I did it. At one point we had 3 big dogs and about 8 cats in our house. Feeding time was pandemonium.

(823 posts)Eight tiny reindeer can, reportedly, be harnessed. Eight cats? Well, no one could harness a clowder of cats. The Norse mythological Freyja has a chariot that is, reportedly, pulled by cats, but She is a goddess and She only has two cats, not eight!

(3,010 posts)He absolutely adored cats. He was a "foster mom" to a litter of feral kittens we brought in years ago. I miss my dogs. They all got old and passed over the rainbow bridge. We still have 4 of the cats in this photo:
