Duncan the golden retriever weighed in 92 pounds last month after 30 days on a diet he weighed in at vets.

Dunc came in 92 pounds after a month on diet no change I told 19 probably muscle mass not chonk.

Look I always gave our dogs bites people food yet my mother in law was making chonk whole peanut butter sandwiches since Elizabeth passed last year and it has caught up with him.

I’m like wow at weigh in ok I told grandma no more peanut butter sandwiches she replied it’s his eyes. I said look I know I’m weak as shit also with pup eyes Mr Big paws our first golden then the Boog the chocolate lab they’d slay me with the puppy eyes.

Although I’d look into the Boogs eyes and think is his elevator stuck in the basement or hey Liz do you think Boogs family tree branches grew to close. She replied no hesitation yes absolutely dear the dog is clueless yet shrewd.

And after 30 days of diet Dunc weighed in other day at 92 pounds so he did not gain so a win is a win . I’ve ordered him metabolic food I needed vet to write a script and he likes it a lot although he picks out the green beans individually so I stopped adding them.

Peanut butter is full of peanut oil, so yes. Nutritious for humans too, but eat sparingly. Hekate Mar 2024 #4

I don’t envy you. Pretty soon you’re going to feel like a sadistic killer. Those eyes will let you know. Luckily goldens are really quick to forgive. Most of the time. Good luck.

My SIL feeds her dog PB in a Kong (?) and he has to work to get it out. It’s a great bedtime snack for the big fella.

Boy dog is the right weight and loves celery and carrot, even after his evening meal.
Munch-crunch!

His sister - the fat one - won't have anything to do with those vegetables. Or any vegetables.

Boy dog has a waist, and I can pick him up.
No waist on his sister, and she is much heavier. Smaller but heavier.
