Sian has chosen today to be extra special mischievous

The family is coming by for Easter dinner. There will be 6 of us. I should have done more housework yesterday but I was so tired from not sleeping the night before that I just puttered.

Now I'm scurrying around, cleaning bathrooms, dusting floors and furniture, straightening up the kitchen and 'hiding' stuff that needs to be sorted, in the guest room. Sian is spending her time being cute, asking for attention, getting in my way and trying to trip me.

Then I heard something bang to the floor. Couldn't find anything amiss until I opened the linen closet. For some weird reason the iron fell off of the shelf. Maybe a transient poltergeist has decided to spend Easter with us and join Sian in trying to drive me crazy!

Fortunately I am responsible for just cocktails, appetizers, roasted potatoes and dessert, which is ready and waiting. My brother bought the wine and asparagus. The kids are bringing smoked lamb shanks and who knows what else.

Right at noon I'll be pouring myself a gwydraid bach o wisgi Cymreig (a small glass of Welsh whisky) and taking a breather.

Pasg hapus ac iechyd da! (Happy Easter and Good Health) from me and all of my furry kids.

Tiger finally got back into sleeping in his little house last night because it was raining. But he stayed in his bed till about 8 o’clock this morning. I had to open the door to chase the squirrel off so I put some food out for him he stuck his head out and sniffedbut wasn’t interested and didn’t eat. I think he ate pretty well last night. Then he came out and sat on the corner of the deck, and then went downstairs. Still I don’t like his sluggishness this morning, and I will worry until I see him again this evening. I must say I was pretty sluggish this morning myself. Fortunately I’m going to my brothers for dinner so he and my sister-in-law are doing most of the work. I did pick up some hot cross buns. Have a good day you and the kitties

I have a cat like Sian that is seemingly always in my way. His name is Ginger. I tell him “You’re everywhere I want to be!”

Happy Easter, all!
