The kidcats are CRAZY about the Blueberry Banana bread I made

Doesn't matter if there is a blueberry present in the morsel, or not. Mind you, they turn their nose up at plain bananas or blueberries.

Also, Carys was in need of scritches, last night. After she got her fill she curled up next to me. When I woke up at 2:30, she was still there.

And it is so sweet that Carys needed scritches and cuddles last night. We are in the tide of the full moon, and I suddenly wondered if that has any effect on her behaviours. No particular reason, just wondered.

What? And I didn't get any?

Don't care! (Sulks quietly)

Anyhow, had two major triumphs over the last 24 hours.

1. Cat, stray, orange flavoured, adopted us years ago.
Always wary of being enclosed, doesn't like it!
Dragged him under the blanket last night, damn cold here.
Minutes later. Nope he said, let me out!
Couple of more minutes later . . . please let me back in, it is warm under there!

2. Dragged out and dusted off the old slow cooker crockpot, serious attempt to make a decent and warming soup.
6 hours later - I had some, offered wife some, she ate (victory one!), put the cooled ceramic liner on the floor, girl dog cleaned it out (victory 2!)

So your Blueberry Banana bread? Hah! Don't care!
(I'm going to look up a recipe though.)
