it goes something like this: "there are two remedies for the miseries of life, music and cats." Not sure that is exact, but have remembered it that way. I 100% agree with the sentiment of that quote!

I listened to "No one compares 2 you' and my cat Wolfie jumped up to rub my face. He thought that was me making those sounds and that I was distressed. I reassured him and no more Sinead when I am at home. So, yes, I think cats hear music.

All 5 of ours are classical fans. Beethoven's Symphony No 6, is their favorite, along with Vivaldi's Spring and Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty. The purring and kneading are a great complement to the music
