Related: About this forumThe elusive Spooky stopped by for a visit
Months went by without me seeing her so I figured she'd crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Nope. I have NO idea where she stays and I don't see her every day but at least it's often enough for me to know she's OK. She's still pretty stand-offish but she does chatter at me when I bring out food. (For those who don't know, Spooky is Madoc and Arthur's mom.)

(27,238 posts)She lets me get a little closer and she does meow at me, just about every time she sees me.
She does look a little thinner to me but her coat is thick and gorgeous. Of course, I have NO idea how old she is.

(27,238 posts)Gryff is the most affectionate boy, if a little over enthusiastic in how he shows he loves me. Kind of like a puppy.
Sian is so sweet and playful. She's a big one for giving face nuzzles. Her purring starts the instant she hops up on my lap.

(220,583 posts)She had ridden all the way from my uncle's in New Jersey to me in Northern New York and she just gracefully emerged from the carrier and immediately made friends with my two dogs. She came when she was called and if I got someone to drive me to her vet, she was just fine sitting on my lap. When she got sick the vet recommended acupuncture. Since there wasn't an exam room available we were in the back where 3 vet techs were struggling to give another cat a shot, while my cat just fell asleep. And at night she slept on my pillow.
