Something a little different




These are marble newts. My wife is a herp collector and she scored these from a pet store in Pueblo, CO. They were quite small when she got them, but are growing like crazy. I think they are 5~6 inches now. They love crickets.

In their natural habitat, marbled newts are found throughout Southern Europe, including Portugal, France, and Spain, though they're absent from parts of the Pyrenees mountains.
