Madoc and Arthur have an interesting relationship

They are brothers, sharing the same mom. They do hang around each other and quite often sleep next to each other.

Every once in a while, Madoc seems to feel the need to assert his dominance as the older brother. He will bite down, grabbing Arthur by the scruff of his neck, not hard but enough to immobilize him. Arthur just stays VERY still. If I happen to encounter them, he will give me a look that says, 'I'm OK, Mom, but could you please talk to him about this kind of behavior?'

Which I do. Usually a couple of head scritches and some soft words will convince Madoc to release his poor brother.

Oh, and Sian? She's still intolerant of ANY of the boys intruding when she's snuggled down on my lap. Gryff, who should know better, by now, got smacked and hisses at, last night. She was having NONE of his nonsense. She's a bit of a spitfire.

Have complex relationships. At least they all get along for them most part, no big fights or anything. How's Carys doing these days? Is she still aloof and hidden much of the time?

I've given up on her ever coming around. It's frustrating, leaving me feeling pretty much defeated. And, of course, I'm an anxiety crippled wreck right now, anyway, so that's not helping things. She's probably feeling my f*cked up energy.

She'll come around in time, her time. Don't feel defeated, she's safe, well fed and loved even if she hides away. Eventually she'll come out and join the rest of you, even if she sits off to the side. She's still pretty young.
