Arthur has been very talkative. He's jumping up on tables and counters, meowing for me to come over. When I do I bend forward he had nuzzles my head and starts to purr. He and his brothers have been keeping a close watch on me, since losing Sian. Carys is her usual secluded self. I need to get an infuser refill. Those usually do help her chill a little bit.

Went to see Mikey yesterday, he's not showing his age at all. He's 11 years old and is an indoor/outdoor cat. Came right up to me in less than a minute after I got out of the car. We're bonded for life it seems. Spent a few hours there and left when it got up to 92F. I was glad that there were large clouds to reduce the heat on the way home. I could see a big rainstorm in the distance as it cleared a small mountain range and realized that there had been such a hail storm that there looked to be snow on the mountain where the storm had passed. I had to have been 20 miles away from the mountain range perimeter.
Mikey is himself, a lovey boy who has two dogs to keep in line, the dachshund is a pest and has to be taught a lesson about once a week or more often. Having some kitty time was very good for me and him I imagine. I'm glad you have all those kitties to share love with, they know you and they love you back, they trust you... to me, that's the greatest love.

It's been over a year now, and my two cats still don't get along, they hiss at each other when they get too close.
But they both love me, and I really enjoy giving them attention.

(735 posts)I have always felt cats are empaths. Whenever I was sad or ill my cats stayed close and comforted me. Take care of yourself and those precious kidcats.
