My kidcat sons just got pill popped with Capstar. They are dazed and confused

It too two tries, each, but I finally got the pills down their gullets. Carys is another story. There's no way in hell I can catch her to use the pill popper. She detected that I tried to hide it in her food and ate Gryff's, instead. I'll try again, tomorrow. Maybe mix it in a little dab of cream cheese. I also might check with my vet to see if there is a mild tranquilizing medication he can prescribe so that at least I could get some topical on her. I have CBD calming tincture but it has to be given directly, not mixed in food, and that's impossible with her. She just hasn't gotten past her reclusive feral stage, at at this point, I doubt she ever will. That breaks my heart because she used to, on occasion, interact with me and let me pet her.

Maybe I'll just fill the house with those cat calming diffusers.

I wish someone made a tuna flavored flea medicine paste.

But at least my bed time snuggle puffs are dosed.

I have a cat with stomatitis. It's a horrible auto immune disease that causes a cat to become allergic to its teeth. It presents with horrible painful gums and tongue ulcers.

I crushed a flea pill and mixed it in Gerber strained chicken baby food. She ate it up. Maybe this will work for you.

I wish there was something yummy that had a strong enough scent to hide the other.

Tincture doesn't work that way. Just sayin', in case you had some of that.

The diffuser does seem to help calm her a little bit. Maybe one near her favorite spots will help.

She takes off if I get too close, unless food is involved. Still, trying to pick her up would probably result in me getting shredded.

Her siblings that my friends adopted at only a tiny bit more social, but they were 4 or 5 months old when we finally caught them.

I had to bring my 2 remaining outdoor cats inside. They had roamed my woods and lived on top of my furnace in the cellar for 12 and 14 years. They had fleas.... lots and lots of fleas. I used Capstar and then put them on Frontline Plus to eliminate the infestation. Worked well. They both moved into an apartment with me.

Unfortunately, we lost Gabby the following year to a heart issue. Andy, going on 18, is still with me.

11. There are lots of flea treatments that you can put on the back of cat's neck.

Your vet should definitely be able to sell you one of those. You can also apply them to the back of cat's neck once a month as a preventative measure. I used several on my two cats.

Years ago we got tuna flavored meds for Ms Don't You Dare Try to Give Me Any Medicine and she loved it.

Actually think she was mad when the course of meds was done and she wasn't getting her tasty paste anymore.

And second the suggestion of Churu. My guys aren't crazy about it but many friends say their guys do like it.
