Arthur did the most delightful 'wake up'

For the first time in longer than I can remember, I slept through the night and got just under 7 straight hours of rest. A little before 6, which is the kid cat's breakfast time, Arthur started purring and making biscuits just above my head, on the pillow.

What a soft and gentle way to start the day.

The kitties are noticing the change in your vibe since the new meds started working. It's subtle to you but they might be more favorably impacted than you know. It's a good sign of better days to come!

Happy Labor Day!

Arthur is just overflowing with affection, right now. He curls up next to me at night and during the day he loves to have me lean forward so he can rub his face against me and purr up a storm. He's also become very chatty.

On the other hand, Gryff was CONSTANTLY sitting on or very near me. Now he's kind of eased up. He's still very affectionate but not nearly as clingy.

relaxing now that you are relaxing. Finally, some new normality can ease into your lives that is far more comfortable than you were able to have before.

I'm really glad this is happening, life is so much easier when stress is at a minimum.

Arthur is!

My male cat, Foggy, woke me up day before yesterday lying on my hair on the pillow, purring, and kneading and burying his nose by my head. It was the first time he'd done that in months.

I got a shirt with a big comma that the head of it is a cat head, then la. I love combining the crazy cat lady with Kamala in such a subtle way. It's now my favorite shirt.

So happy for you, and thank you for sharing. My guy actually got on my arm (I sleep on my side) to wake me up this morning, something he has not done all summer.

for the first time, he began gently kneading my leg. I waited for him to finish before getting up, enjoying his soothing caress.

I know how delightful it is to wake up to a sweet kitty touch. My Minnie gently lays her soft paw in my shoulder when it’s wake/up time (a.k.a. “I’m-hungry time.”)

Thank you for sharing, Siwsan.

I'm so jealous that you have a kitty to purr you awake. Huggable!
