I think Merlin has discovered his wizardly powers

I woke up early, fed the kid cats, gave Merlin a dish of slurry, got dressed and headed out to feed the ferals. Fed myself. From there it gets a little bleary. I know I sat down to play with Merlin at around 8:30. The next thing I knew it was 11!! I suspect that Merlin cast a sleep spell on me so I'd stop singing to him.

He has graduated from the make shift shoe box lid litter box to an actual kitten litter box and is getting better at using it. From now on he will be fed an increasingly thicker slurry at 6, noon, 6 and 11, and I'll feed him that one in his playpen, where he will now spend the night.

He's still so small that I tend to treat him like a much younger kitten. It is an understatement to say that he is VERY attached to me, to the point where I've fallen behind in chores. I'll get to them. Eventually. I have to teach him STAY in the pouch instead of crawling out and up to my shoulder.

I was just looking for a smaller wizard hat, but no luck. Maybe I'll just make one.

He's growing and seems to be healthy! The chores will be there when you get around to them.

and thoughtful of you!

Now, Siwsan, we KNOW that taking care of the baby wizard and his sibs and outdoor cousins, and yourself, is WAYYYYYYYY more important than mere. .chores, so please, be kind to yourself.
