I mentioned I adopted my friend's cat

Last month. She has made herself completely at home. I was sitting in a recliner, surrounded by laptop, devices, chargers, basically a comfy home office area. But, she has claimed my seat. I've been trying to share the space with her, but it's killing my back. Every time I want to sit, I have to move her. Every time I get up, I disturb her.
So after some thought, today I moved my stuff to the end of the couch. I set up a different table, moved all of the electronics. She will come over where I am, when she notices I moved, but there is room for both of us. Maybe.
Quite the roomie 🙄

if you get up you will leave a warm seat and the signal goes out to the cat. The real solution is to get more furniture.
