I need suggestions for cat names

I just got a pair of young tomcats—apparently brothers—whom I’ll be fostering until they can be vetted and adopted. They’re both tabbies and will probably be put up for adoption together , so I’m looking for a pair of names. Laurel and Hardy? Fred and Barney?

The vet's assistants don't ask my pet's name. They ask how to spell it.

For a pair of toms, I recommend, "Na Bean" and "Don Chat." Touch Not" and "The Cat." It comes from the motto of several clans in the Clan Chattan confederacy. ""Na bean don chat gun lamhainn" - touch not the ungloved cat (don't touch the cat if its claws are barred).

If I ever get two at once, I’ll name them Gregg and Duane after two of my favorite musicians.

Chad and Jeremy? Peter and Gordon? I had 2 finches once that I named Tommy and Dicky after the Smothers Brothers.

Sorry all my suggestions are so Boomeresque. I yam what I yam!

I’d call them Mimi and Doc. But any pair of musicians could work.

Skipper and Gilligan sounds perfect! One is a little chunkier than the other; he’ll be Skipper.

Thank you, it’s always hard to come up with names.

......always be heard. But.....I'd skip the "pair of names" bit and just come up with two guy names that you like and that had some harmony between them. Our cats have always had less common but not real unusual human names, like Mona, Gwen, Ralph, Iris and so on. Just my personal preference. Please forgive me as this isn't what you asked for.
