American History
Related: About this forumAnother trivia question
This one is one of my favorites to ask.
Four institutions of higher learning have produced both a president and a Super Bowl winning quarterback. Name the schools along with both the presidents and the quarterbacks.
No cheating of course and don't answer if you've already heard it

(8,556 posts)They can do them one at a time. Any guesses?
The other one was easy, just work backwards, and have an extensive knowledge of Presidential biographies. I also had the benefit of all the other answers as a guide. This one takes a special sort of obsession.
But just in case. One is my undergrad alma mater, which is in my home state. And the QB is a complete douche and the president was of the lesser-known ones in American history.

I'm stuck on the last two. I'm thinking that Stanford has to be one, but can't think of the QB and POTUS.

(8,556 posts)I put a hint earlier in the thread. The last one is my own alma mater

(8,556 posts)Here's a recap of the hints:
It's my alma mater and in my home state. The QB is a total douche and the president is one our lesser-known occupants of the WH. He was also a general in the Union Army during the Civil War (the president, not the QB).
And it's not Ohio State or Ohio University, which were already guessed.

(390 posts)The other Ohio presidents I can think of are: Harrison, Cleveland, and Garfield...
RZM
(8,556 posts)Except Cleveland was from the east coast. Born in New Jersey and made his career in New York. Taft, Grant, and McKinley were from Ohio too, but it's not one of them.
So you've got a 50/50 shot. Benjamin Harrison or James A. Garfield?
Indianademocrat91
(390 posts)So that means he's kinda spectacular in a way. Let's go Harrison.

But somebody already came up with that one (see post 7).
It took a while, but we finally got all the answers.
