When our SIL called and told us to hunker down.
He had a close friend who worked at the weather bureau. His friend called our SIL and asked our SIL if he had relatives in Iowa. When SIL said yes he did, the friend told our SIL to call them immediately to tell us to take shelter. Two minutes later and we would have been on the road.

The storm hit about ten minutes later. Jess it got black fast that day.
