I think the other forum will serve us well under DU3.

I know a number of people put in a lot of effort to see this group get established, but a short while after it was, it went largely unused. Which is a shame, I believe.

Also, IIRC, one of the reasons for having this group was that it would be easier to keep out those who are seemingly against the group's mission. With the new features presented with DU3, I think we have stronger tools to do this within the general GLBT group.

I think it makes sense to just have one group specifically dedicated to the GLBT community and our issues. Given the choice, I would vote to remove this one and keep the other one active.

YMMV.

From my experience not enough activity in LGBT to warrant a separate group for "activism".

I'd prefer to get Du's opinion on GLBT news/"activism" in a the more general LGBT category simply because there will be more views in a single category.

So I don't think two forums are necessary.

Plus, I would rather see threads about LGBT activism in the Soapbox forum so the issue isn't relegated to a topic forum.

Maybe as DU3 grows, and gets more active, but it would be better to keep everything under one roof for now.
