"Hello my name is Gaytard" name tag given to Taco John's employee via ACLU

Tyler was given a name tag by his manager that said, "Hello My Name Is Gaytard" He was then made to wear it all evening while he waited on customers. Though Corporate Taco John's says they do not put up with this type of harassment, they have also said it's the franchise's problem, not theirs.

Or did tweeted? I tweeted directly from the ACLU. Only 223 people even looked at it. I looked around and didn't see any other post about this. Has the fact that marriage equality has gained ground in many States caused discrimination against LGBT people to no longer matter?

I appreciate that you did this. Thank you

Might get more legs there.

I've noticed that things have a way of getting lost around here unless they're posted by one of the well-known posters on the board.
Is sad.

I think I will just create a new post. Not looking for recs, per say. Just looking for it to be seen and the petition signed.

Have a great day!

But, you gotta love ACLU overall. At least, I do.

Oh, fuck Taco John. Twice. Once for this happening at a franchise's and the other for corporate's attempt to have it both ways.

Recent court decision said nat'l is resonsible f/ franchise actions (think case was a McD's)
